A Bit of History
Founders: William (Bill) Michaelcheck and Jerry Reese
Michaelcheck and Reese share some remarkable similarities. Both men are natives of Tiptonville, a small town in northwest Tennessee. They also share a vision to empower the young people of Lake County, the community, and surrounding areas. With a collective effort of retired teachers, former alumni, and volunteers, the Team 4 Success Foundation was established in August 2014.
The Team 4 Success Foundation set up a community center, which is committed to creating a place where all people, especially the youth, can come together for cultural enrichment, education, leadership, and skills enhancement. The community center welcomes everyone and does not discriminate based on age, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or economic circumstances.
T4S serves hundreds of individuals per year through unique programs designed to enrich our young people and bring people together across traditional divides. T4S grows every day as we continue to serve and give back to our community. Though our impact is already sizeable, we hope to continue to expand so that we can continue to better the community.
